Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the vibrant Bermuda3Eck district of Bochum, the Art Hotel Tucholsky was a delightful retreat over Christmas, embodying a charming blend of art and comfort. As a landscape photographer, I often seek aesthetically pleasing environments, and this hotel did not disappoint-think stylish, modern decor with an artsy touch. The breakfast was an absolute highlight, featuring a variety of delicious a la carte options that kept our taste buds dancing each morning. My companion and I truly appreciated the hotel's central location; it was just a stone's throw from the main train station yet remarkably quiet at night, letting us drift off to sleep without a hitch. The adjacent tapas restaurant was a gem for our cozy dinners, where we indulged in mouthwatering Spanish dishes after long days exploring the city. With friendly staff and spacious rooms, the Art Hotel Tucholsky felt less like staying in a typical hotel and more like being welcomed into a local home.
